What to check
- Install a fresh remote battery
- Stand closer and test again
- Try the wall control
- Confirm the opener has power
- Check whether wall-console lock mode is enabled
What the symptoms can mean
If the wall control works but multiple remotes do not, the issue may involve programming, receiver behavior, lock mode, or interference. If the wall control also fails, move upstream to power and opener diagnostics.
When to stop troubleshooting
Stop operating the door if it is visibly crooked, off track, unusually heavy, has a broken spring or loose cable, or makes severe mechanical noise. Do not loosen spring or cable hardware.
